Beautiful sterling silver adjustable ring with Fordite stone in shades of pink, gray, white and silver with a slight metallic undertone. The adjustable band is etched with a swirling design that echos the stone's pattern The band is currently set at a size 8 but can easily go from about a size 7 to 9 1/2. if you need a different size, let me know and I can adjust fort you. Fordite is actually paint from automotive plants that was removed from equipment and carved into a cabochon. Hence the name Ford-ite or also called a Detroit Agate. Vintage Fordite has a slight enamel smell that is only noticeable if it's been in a sealed ziplock bag. Although, "fake" Fordite is currently made with resin, I believe this stone to be a real vintage piece based on that tell-tale smell! Fordite has increasingly become collectible as car paint is no longer applied in the same way and each piece is unique. The setting is accented with four sterling silver balls.
